Doctor of Nursing Practice
A native of Ripley, Mississippi, Katese Rutherford earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Mississippi and her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner.
Katese began her nursing education at the University of Mississippi, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
She continued her education at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, completing her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner.
Katese has also been recognized for her work in patient care, receiving Union County’s Best of the Best Nurse Practitioner award for three consecutive years.

Katese is married to her high school sweetheart, and together they have two sons, Mason and Malachi. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys reading, arranging flowers, cooking and hosting, and spending time with family.
